CARTRIDGE SEALS

Cartridge mechanical seal is assembled by the rotary ring, stationary ring, spring, secondary seal( o rings, PTFE), gland and other mechanical seal parts together as a collection, known as the cartridge seal, sometimes also called the cartridge mechanical seal. Specially used in paper industries, petrochemical & petroleum refineries.

Features

• Available as Cartridge seals in Single and Double arrangements.

• Gland plate is often fitted with various tappings to provide flushing, cooling water injection and disaster control.

• Cartridge seals are beneficial as they reduce down-time periods and enable mechanical seals to be installed in hard-to-access places.

• The Cartridge seal unit is fitted onto the Pump Shaft as a built assembly and no further fitting is required.
